Opaline collaborated with an active, growing family and KTII Design Group to design their second home on Galaxy Hill in Quechee, Vermont. Having rented houses in the area for years, the family loved Quechee year-round—skiing in winter, summers at the lake, and fall hikes amid technicolor leaves. They envisioned a home that would support seasonal adventures and be perfect for entertaining. The interiors balance the home’s modern architecture with quintessential New England sensibility and a touch of glamour, designed to gather large groups in intimate rooms with expansive views and sleep 18 comfortably.
