Opaline collaborated with an active, growing family and KTII Design Group to design their second home on a beautiful mountain top in Vermont. Having rented houses in the area for years, the family loved Vermont year-round—skiing in winter, summers at the lake, and fall hikes amid technicolor leaves. They envisioned a home that would support seasonal adventures and be perfect for entertaining. The interiors balance the home’s modern architecture with quintessential New England sensibility and a touch of glamour, designed to gather large groups in intimate rooms with expansive views and sleep 18 comfortably.
